The H-PV500 line of recorders has been in production for over five years and with each generation new features based on end user feedback are integrated into each system. This newest system has a larger, 3 inch touch screen enabling you control in the field without the need for remote controls. The PV-500EVO2 when paired with the new generation HD button camera CMD-BU13LX will provide you with ultra clear video footage like you’ve never seen before. The days of grainy, questionable undercover video are over. It will also work with your existing analog covert cameras so your prior investment did not go to waste. (Not Compatible with CMD-BU13 or CMD-ER13)

Field Programmable Yet Supervisor Controlled
On-screen time and date overlay with additional frame counter provides proof positive evidence tampering prevention. As an added chain of custody measure we’ve also included supervisory password controls that give you the option of preventing file deletion in the field. A complete log of every button press and power up/power down is stored on the device as well.

Multiple Recording Modes Put You in Control
Multiple recording modes lets you record exactly what you want and skip what you don’t. Continuous recording ensures your camera never blinks. Motion detect recording captures only when movement is detected. Pre-event recording keeps a watchful eye always waiting until you press the record button. The first few seconds of the situation before you press record are captured. Schedule recording lets you program the recorder to turn on and off at certain times. Overwrite recording mode will record in a constant loop so you can set it and forget it. Stop recording mode will cease recording when memory is full.

Snapshot Capability
You are now able to capture individual snapshots from your video that are saved in JPEG format for later retrieval. Perfect for license plate capture or when you need to email other officers or agents a photo of an individual without the need for cumbersome image editing software.

Numerous Optional Accessories and Cameras Available
This new system comes with an infrared remote controller, USB cable, 5 V charger, pouch with belt loop, earphones, 2200 mA battery, AV input cable, AV output cable, cable controller with remote start function, controller cable, and instructions.

An optional dual battery charger and 4400 mA battery giving you seven hours of uninterrupted use are also available.
